At our practice, caring for eyesight goes beyond the exam room. As eye care professionals, we understand how profoundly vision impacts independence, opportunity, and quality of life. That’s why we are proud to support organizations that protect sight, empower individuals, and strengthen our community.
Advancing Hope for Vision Loss
We are honored supporters of Hope in Focus and its signature event, Dinner in the Dark. This organization is dedicated to advancing the development of treatments for blindness caused by Leber congenital amaurosis and other rare inherited retinal diseases. Through research funding, education, advocacy, and global community-building, Hope in Focus provides meaningful support to individuals and families navigating vision loss — a mission deeply aligned with our commitment to preserving sight.
We also proudly support the Southeast Connecticut Community Center of the Blind, which serves the social, educational, and advocacy needs of blind and visually impaired individuals in southeastern Connecticut. Their work empowers individuals to maintain independence and live full, connected lives — values we champion every day in our care for patients.
